Actualy Obito died in the war, Tobi is Madara Uchiha, not Obito. Tobi/ Madara was the founder of the Akatsuki Organization.

Akatsuki itself is a farce, great ninja only used to accomplish a goal set by a select few individuals. There is no single leader, instead an even smaller group making sure their true plan goes uninterupted.



As for Tobi and Obito being the same.. well, I agree. But theres something else about Tobi that you'll be surprised to find out about when he goes public with it.
