A(x)=15x-1/2x^2 is the simplified version of A(x)=x(30-x/2). :]
Under it I put the quadratic equation: x=(-b±√(b^2-4ac))/2a.
It's really hard to explain over the internets. ]:

Yeah...I figured you wouldn't understand what I was talking about... You should have done a unit on the quadratic formula on Carnegie last year. o:

But don't mind that, just make a chart and plug in numbers for x until you get 88. :]
It's a little more tedious and maybe more time-consuming, but it'll get the job done.

Oh man, Toni. You've got yourself into a quadratic equation. o_o
It's really hard to explain how to solve it if you haven't had the lesson for it yet...
If you know how to use the quadratic equation, you can simplify your function and use that. o:
A(x)=15x-1/2x^2
x=(-b±√(b^2-4ac))/2a

Or, if you don't want to do it that way (or if you don't understand how to do it that way) you could make a chart and just plug in x's starting from 1 and ending with whatever number gives you 88. o:

Well someone asked me for a tradee
Black Pebbo Hat for Dark Halo
The hat was 5mil in current price
but when i checked the average price (after the trade)
it was 1k
so now I'm stuck with a hat I'm selling for 5mil, but the lowest is 9k
