Yeah unfortunately in the last few months it's gotten even worse. A bunch of blogs i followed for art and whatnot all started posting political stuff excessively. I got so tired of it I just unfollowed. I wouldn't that discourage you from posting though!

If you join DA, watermark the hell out of your stuff as a precaution. A lot of people take artwork without asking. However, I'd recommend keeping both updated to maximize your exposure and feedback from people!
