I joined Gaiaonline on a whim, and I'm still not truly comfortable here yet- expect me not to know the way 'around' at this stage, and be forgiving of that please. I learn reasonably quickly. wink

On the upside, I am a friendly, literate, and companionable kind of person who truly loves interacting with new people. Please feel free to contact me, suggest guilds, or to chat a bit over a game or forum posting. (Note: I'm not a teenager anymore... at 39, chatspeak doesn't really amuse me. If you really want to get to know me, you'll probably have to resort to (gasp!) english. *GRIN*)

I love to roleplay, because I love to write. I am currently looking into the whole 'guild' system here at Gaiaonline, hoping to find roleplay that I can pop into every day or so, with a comfortable level of posting for me (not more than a couple posts a day from me, but steady at whatever pace it runs at- I hate investing into a story and then having everyone drop it suddenly!). I can roleplay many different settings, scenarios, and character types- and I hope to invest in about three or four roleplay threads of one or two posts a day maximum. (max... less than that is fine! I can go as slow as you need. I do not LIVE to be online. I has a life, as they say. wink )

Speaking of a life: Mine is Art-centric at this stage. I've got all sorts of real life artwork constantly in the works. I have a lot to do right now, including my own real life pursuits in spirituality (I am an ecclectic pagan, who belongs to several smaller groups and one large non-denominational pagan/earth-based church here) as well as my intent to go back to college. (despite not being a young man anymore. *chuckle* I think I can handle it. wink heh!) I also own a horse, and am as active as I can be in her care, considering she is stabled away from me at the present time. We're hoping to move where that can change... untill then, we're stuck commuting to the stable. (go figure.) I also love movies, especially 'J-horror' (and varients of that) or movies that are scary... gore is fine, but I actually prefer plot twists and creepy eye-candy backdrops and settings to just gore or terror. I truly love going out to the movies, and so am always looking for what is coming out next, or what might be availible on DVD that I might not have seen yet!

If you're interested in roleplaying with me, please note one thing: I will follow the Gaiaonline TOS, and am not really interested in tab-a-into-slot-b roleplay anyway. (cybering is the hip new word for that as I understand it.) Just not really interested in that. If roleplay has romance IN it, that's one thing, but I'm not into details of the act(s) that might include, and I'm not looking for that either. I FAR prefer to skirt around in roleplay with plot, innuendo, and actual meaningful interaction. If the story calls for romance, that's one thing... but for gawds sake, have a purpose behind it. I've got a real romantic life, I'm not looking for one online. I'm looking for intellectual stimulation and artistic expression, that's all. smile I hope you understand- if you do, we'll probably cross paths sometime, bemoaning the people who pm you at random wanting to talk dirty. (groan)

Yay for silly games online! My main reason to join Gaiaonline are the little games and earning points for little avatar goodies... there's just something cool about little virtual rewards for your gaming pleasure. smile I love the silly games, and I love slowly building the avatar by hard work alone. I hope the little guy starts looking spiffy soon... I kind of like him. smile
