you've definitely got 'choose profile' (under profile type) set to classic, right?
and then you need to set 'theme' (at the top right) to custom.
that's what i've done, and it seems to be working fine for me c:

I don't know if they might be having issues with jigsaw, try using another browser maybe?
Fastest way to earn gold is probably zOMG (under the games tab) or Booty Grab (this should help explain the game to you). c :
