The mutant wouldn't get far before realizing that the area they were in was sealed off. He merely watched her fly off, his screens busy taking data, "True, but with my past reputation, it has been difficult collecting data. But tell me? Where do you plan on going? Do you know where we are?.....Of course you don't...I can hear your thoughts. That's my fault, let me explain." The man lifted himself into the, placing his hands behind his back as he did, "I am The High Evolutionary. And you are currently in my orbital worldship, New Wundagore. In essence...behind this four barriers, are the vacuums of space." He paused, contemplating something, then continued, "My goal in this flow of time we call existence is to understand the mystery behind evolution. The find the reasoning behind it all." he paused again, but this time, it was to allow the mutant the time to comprehend what he said.

The High Evolutionary continued to stare at the woman. Raising his hand, multiple floating screens, all with information racing across it, appeared around him. One of the screens turned to her and released a harmless beam a light that covered her body, as if it was scanning her, "I'm interested in finding out why, after the event known as M-Day, you were able to retain your mutant abilities. Is it out of random probably? Or could it be something else?" He turned to his screen, looking at it intently
