It does get quite intimidating.
I remember my friend made me look at gaia back in '05, and it was so damn confusing I ditched it for almost an entire year. I kept trying to come back, but it seemed so..confusing and boring. Finally got he hang of it round December/January.

Yes, I had several disappearances. The one I actually remember was after August of last year, when I moved. I finally got my computer back together, and I totally just DIED. Right before that I was hooked on the WG like a drug.
I probably can hardly name any regs from when I first came along, other than the ones who are still around. Which is like, 5-10 to the most.
But the slightly newer '08 regs are pretty nice people. I remember coming back after my August '8 AWOL, and seeing so many new faces, it almost horrified me. xD
