Kaze did at one point have parents and more siblings, but they were killed when she was young, except her brother. They are both kitsune (foxes) this experience has made her older brother (by 14 years) extremely hateful to the humans who murdered them for sport and for their hatred for kitsune. they don’t know much about their past, and Kaze was only 2 when this happened so she didn’t understand it very well or remember much of it at all. he secluded himself from her a lot as they struggled to live together, without a clan (but since their foxes, they don’t generally have last names.) he ignored her, though and through life she tried to impress him, but a reason that he might’ve is because although they were siblings, she didn’t have the same father, in fact no one at all knew who her father was, and extremely strangely, not even her mother knew.
She is a white fox with black tip markings. She, like all kitsune has a human form that she got when she was 25, having 2 tails. Her brother craved power and strength to destroy the humans that destroyed his family. His name is Krreil, but he despises the name, and claims that one day he will become known as the Kyuubi (nine tailed fox) and be the most powerful and destroy all the humans. Kaze was born with the power to manipulate the air, but didn’t realize it for a while, but this grew to be an obviously powerful ability. Krreil grew to hate her for the power that she had, even though female kitsune are generally stronger.
So he challenged, her but lost, and this enraged him, so he went off to find power to defeat her. she, being alone, disguised as a human, and went to the budding hidden villages around the area where she lived, hiding her identity and not using her natural human form, but learning a lot about the human's way of the shinobi, and graduating from the academies, then later staged her own "death" so she wouldn’t be bound to that village, then moving on to the next, learning more jutsu and becoming more powerful, and growing more tails, but of course since time is different for kitsune still looking the age of 13 or 14.
Once she had visited all the villages at that time, she met up with Krreil, who again challenged her. At this time he was 803 with all nine of his tails, and she was 789 with all of her ninetails. But he had a dark personality this time, more so then before. so they fought a hard battle, with her starting out winning, then he suddenly revealed something, that he had found a way with an evil jutsu that he could obtain the immense power that kitsune get when they turn 1000, and more dark power(but very few actually live that long) when he was still his age, so he showed his true massive size and in a second had knocked out Kaze, so she would be out for a very long time with all the injuries she had,(very near death) and cackling with his evil power(and without actually living 1000 years, he didn’t gain the wisdom that he needed to control it in anyway, and the evil jutsu he used had left him with no emotion) he left, ran somewhere far off.
Years later, when she was 991 she was told the story of the fourth Hokage, and what the Kyuubi did to the Konoha village, so she traveled there slowly, and arrived when she was 1002(present time)and saw the young boy named Naruto with her brother sealed inside him. He acted like her brother did when he was young, loud, obnoxious, and his parents were gone too, and he had no siblings. She wondered if he would turn out like her brother, so she decided to hide her power and turned to her true human form and decided to stay with him and make sure that would NEVER happen. (At this point he had already graduated and was under Kakashi, but past the fight with Zabuza and Haku.) Kakashi suspects something about her, but she acts too childish to be a threat of any kind, he figures. Not like he could stop her anyway. I end with this, "Hey, Naruto! ...Wanna be friends?" Kaze said with a wide smile.
