Interesting, seems we do.

I think there was a point in my life where I clearly showed I was independant and never a reflection of them. People see it now and things changed. If anything I've learned what NOT to do by their examples. I'm not one to want a large quantity of friends either. It's more about quality, which is why I just have a select few I know I could rely on.

I will just say you are wise beyond your years I can see that. Well, from the things that happened during my childhood a lot of people had little hope for me, a lot of people wouldn't have wasted their time getting involved with me, probably feared I'd be a lot like my biological parents. Who are "parents" that have a lot to answer to. Even though there were a lot of events that could have affected me negatively, and still do, as a human we have the ability to change who we are. I'm not saying become someone you're not, but it's one of the few things that seperates us greatly from animals. Even the conscience aspect. The results we want might not happen right away, but with every slight change there is hope as well as no need to rush things.

Bah you're 14 so you can't just say "well that's my personality." Wait a few more years for it to change because it usually does. It's amazing when I look back just a few years ago when I was like 15 and realize how I've definately gone through a metamorphasis in different aspects regarding choices/opinions/personality.

R u sure u hasnt read any of them? lots of ppl have but dont even realize it. Like Uncle Tom's Cabin, Tale of Two Cities, Jane Eyre, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn? Most of these they would force u to read in school too. lol

NOTHING will ever make men truly understand a girl, heck I don't know what I want have the time. rofl But at least you're trying, kudos.

I'm sure it's got to be good in some way no matter what or it wouldn't be so popular, like I said though I just LoL @ vampire talk... I guess cus I've run into too many people who say THEY RLY R A VAMPYRE DUN MESS W/ ME and it just spoils it. )=

That novel sounds really interesting I will seriously check that out, I am an old-fashioned reader as well! That's right people, this girl doesn't just read comics. That's why my mom was the one who got me that leather Jane Austin novel. My favorites are her and Charles Dickens, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Charlotte Bronte, Betty Smith, Jonathan Swift, and ohh quite a few more. =]

I often read books I'm into within a day or two. I've been guilty of staying up till 4am just to find out what happens w/ great books. redface

haha Twilight is such a hit, but I'm one of the few girls I guess who doesn't really care about it. Vampires never been my thing I can't get into it. This even applies to manga dun dun dun. x3

arrrrrrgh I want a laptop! xD I gots a purty necklace (from bf), some anime, a scarfee (has pink which I love), a bootiful large leather book w/ 7 of Jane Austin's novels (even has edges w/ gold paint how classeh =P), ipod chromatic, and a few other random things ^_^
