Aww, you're still on your break from school, right? I'm so jealous of you. I'm sure whatever circumstances you're in will turn around soon. With the economy being the crapshoot that it is right now, it's more about your attitude than anything else.
Hahah, you only think designing webpages is easy because you have natural flair for that. xD Well, I mean, anyone can design one, but not everyone can design one that's actually good (and not just flashy and crap).
When I said commercial illustration, I meant less advertising and more like, say, the person who does those cool band T-shirts or something. At least, that is my plan. >_> I really enjoy the challenge of packaging something appealingly (as long as there's really something to be excited about), and I already do that a lot in my spare time - making T-shirts for clubs I'm in, doing some technical rendering for an engineering group I know, that sort of thing.
