About
Hello there,
My real name is Ali, but everyone on Gaia can call me Europe S y r u p or just Europe for short. I've been a member of Gaia for near six years now coming up this 2011 August, so I'm fairly familiar with the ropes. However I don't claim to know them all. With Gaia, there is always more to learn. In years past I participated more in Gaian events but a three year hiatus due to school and me becoming disenfranchised with the internet has resulted in my loss of interest in newer Gaian affairs. I do not care so much for vending, voting, fishing, gaming, or any other type of game offered by Gaia's services anymore. What keeps me coming back to this site is the vast roleplaying forum. Story-telling, writing, are my life. I hold myself to a very high standard and feel very strongly about certain aspects of roleplaying. My passion lies in creativity, imagination, and detail. My sole purpose on Gaia now is to write. If you share similar interests, feel free to contact me.

P.S. As a note, I realize, after rereading my About Me section, that I explained my love for roleplays very well, but not my disposition. I figure that can be an important factor when it comes to making friends.
If I had to describe myself I would say that above all... I'M NICE. I don't like to fight, I don't like to make fun of or hurt people. I mean, I'm no saint (we all have that part of us that likes to talk about someone behind their back, or be selfish, or make cruel jokes about that fat chick in Wal-Mart with the huge triple chin that almost looked like a third boob because it sagged so low and the wart on it was like a hairy, swollen n****e)... but I try to be as friendly and polite as possible. It's the best way to avoid conflict, as I see it. I'm also not very competitive. Maybe I am in some ways but usually, I just want to be part of a team.
I also hold very strong political and philosophical beliefs (I don't like labels but for the sake of time and people's varying levels of patience, I guess politically you could call me a leftist to libertarian. Definitely not conservative, although I do agree with some of their morals). As for philosophical and religious beliefs; I am not religious. I was not raised in a church-going family or under any type of established religion. However, on the two-sided scale of belief (from belief in something after life to a belief in nothing after life) I believe that there is something after life. Do I believe in the God in the sky waiting for us behind the pearly gates? No. But I do believe there is something. This is just how I see life, in my own personal narrow view, and by no means does that mean that I think any less of anyone who thinks differently. If anything, I encourage and celebrate the diversity of people in the world.
There is more to tell about myself, my thoughts and beliefs and personal life, but this is not the time or place for a personal biography. I will leave it at this: If you wish to know more, just ask me! I'll be nice.

It's a shame when there's nothing good to RP...
Might I offer you a solution?
