It doesn't look anything like it!
They just used the same artist for the game's box art and stuff.
In terms of retro pixel graphics, it's easily one of the most beautiful ones around.

That's just concept art for the game.
In-game has a beautiful, crisp pixel art.
Plus, the story and gameplay behind it is TOTALLY worth it.

Ooooooo have you play Chrono Trigger?
They remade it for the DS.
Easily in the top 3 best games that Square has EVER done.
It's incredible.

Funny you should say that.
I'm planning on going into the same exact thing.

And I WOULD be totally on board for Square Enix.
BUT, I'm kind of disappointed with their current direction with Final Fantasy.
I don't care about the combat or whatever, but the settings?!
It's turning into more of a sci-fi series than anything else.
It's too "modern".
Anyway, I guess that means you've played some of the Final Fantasies then.
What are some of your favorites?
My all time favorite is FF9.
With FF6 and FF12 behind it.

Yeah, I'm not terribly worried about making friends in college.
I have friends from high school (even though we don't do much anymore because of work)
But if I make some more? Hey, the more the merrier.
