A lot of people have downgraded or just closed their tanks for that very reason. I closed mine before summer and when I came back i was like where did they all go? eek The prices of those strike pack is outrageous alright. I saw airsharks for 800k and more. smh I can see why those types of tanks are mixing in lower end fish or just closing like you did. I am so glad i bought my Sainte Ciel Agape back when they were 2mil to 2.6 mil. (I bought one for each account and some for my daughters) There's no way I'd be able to get even one now. I just figured out I got all of mine for the price of one now. emotion_jawdrop And yeah I notices few Enkis and it even seems like fewer catches drop while playing. Maybe it's just me, but that's what it seems like.

I haven't even donated to get the hat or achievement. I'm still debating if I will or not. I'm not made of gold. Yeah, I might have expensive items, but I work my butt off to get them and don't generally keep a lot of gold on hand because my kids are always asking for items or else I donate to charities/guilds. I usually look forward to the Halloween event. This year however, meh.

As for the gold, it's ridiculous. I used to be able to get items off my wish list and now it's like yeah, never going to get that now. Makes playing BG futile. I still play mainly to support the tanks anymore because it isn't helping me get a 10 mil item anytime soon. (used to be around 3 mil)

I hear you. I sure as hell don't have that kind of cash to spend on virtual items. $2.50-5.00 was doable a month, but $50-100, sorry I have actual bills that need to be paid myself. They'd probably bring in more revenue if they went back to releasing new items at a reasonable price more people could afford. I don't even like most of the new items. And rereleasing the old items is a sell out IMO. Greed, greed, greed. That's all I see. And to log in today and see Flynn's Behind being pushed again makes me want to scream.
