this is the definition of emo

emo means that they are emotional or trying to come off as deep, intelligent and full of angst. Someone who is EMO trys hard to act like he is so deep and full of emotion that it's killing him inside. He cant smile. He can't get through a day without deep pain. He needs to write songs. His favorite band is coldplay. You get my drift, right? lol. Emo guys pretend to cut themselves. They talk about cutting themselves although you've never seen a real cut. emo girls might really try to cut themselves but usually arent true cutters either. Emo guys are really posers. They don't really have any real parts of themselves, they act like someone else. They read books about curt cobain and then try to act like he was. Emo guys are the funniest of all. Its hard to tell for sure if they're a boy or a girl. The guys wear very tight pants and tuck their winkies between their legs so that no bump shows. A true emo guy cant sit down because his pants are too tight. They wear eyeliner and have dark bangs that go halfway over their eyes. They wear black plastic bracelets, the kind you can twist together and make like an "8". Their nails are often painted black or dark purple or dark green or blue or even a bright pink but don't mistake them for Goth because they arent although they pretend to be if you ask...there's that poser thing again.
