I'm Louis de Pointe du Lac.I was made in 1791 at the age of 25, by Lestat.
When I was first gifted with this curse by Lestat I didn't kill humans..much any ways. Perhaps it was out of respect for life, in any case i hunted down rats, dogs, chickens; rats for the most part though.
He and I lived in New Orleans for 4 years until he made Claudia; the child vampire in hopes of keeping with him...and it worked..because I loved her dearly....
We then lived together in New Orleans for some 65 years. When Claudia rebelled against Lestat and 'killed' him, we left New Orleans for Europe and stayed there until her death.
Distraught and completely heart-broken I spent the next hundred years wandering the world with Armand, finally leaving him after learning from Lestat that Armand was resposible for Claudia's death.
Looking back on happier days Lestat would teast me with his nick name for me and her. I was Mercifiul Death; the most human of vampires, and she... well she was the mistress of death, sister of death, our baby doll.. my daughter.....
