yea i don't think i could do the small town thing. i grew up in a tiny town in illinois until i was 11, but my grandma and some of my other family moved back a couple years ago, so when i go visit i'm always bored. that's the last time i lived somewhere cold, though. since then it's been florida and arizona.
a 1 inch thick layer of ice around my car would not be fun to deal with lol. how long does it take to get it off? and hopefully it's on a day when you don't plan to go anywhere, lol. that would suck o.o
right now, we live with his parents and his 2 sisters live like 10 miles or so away. he always says it's better to deal with the weather, too. especially since there's really not any natural disasters around here like earthquakes and tornadoes and all that. i just wish it was colder. but yea, 6 hours would land us near disneyland lol. that would be nice. but then there's the humidity and lately it's been so humid here and i can't stand it. i don't know if i could deal with humidity and mosquitoes again. i don't miss that part of florida lol.

lol i know what you mean.
i'm in arizona and have been since 99.
i haaaaaaate it. it's just way too hot for me during the summers and now the winters are getting shorter and shorter.
my husband doesn't want to move away from his family, though. but maybe we'll move to a colder part of arizona eventually.
unfortunately, the colder parts are small towns with nothing to do.

I was thinking it wasn't for me, too, until I heard that computer forensics was a separate field.
I need to look into it more, just in case, because I'm not a big science or math person either.

oh man, i couldn't imagine being a lawyer. it's exciting, but you're right.. not enough fun lol.
yea, the reason behind wanting to go to school to become a police officer was so that i wouldn't have to go back to school later or become something else in law enforcement.
incase i didn't like being an actual officer and i wanted to do something more "behind the scenes".
that and i really wanted a degree.
i was looking into computer forensics and that seems interesting to me, but i'd have to see what the classes are like.

lol well tell him i only thought of kale, because we have a guinea pig and we always feed him kale.. so i just happened to be like.. KALE! lol
but also, it was the name of the lead character in disturbia, i think.
i can't remember for sure, but i think so.
noah kane would be cool. the initials would be nkc as opposed to nac lol. kc could be a nickname. biggrin

that's something i'm worried about, too.
spending all that time with schooling and then not wanting to do it when it's all said and done.
and i keep changing my mind, anyway, so it's bad enough.
i wanted to be a mortician throughout high school, but i've become more sensitive to blood and gore as i've gotten older, so i don't think i could handle it anymore.
then it went to police officer or something in the police department.
and i wanted to study criminal justice.
and just recently, it's been veterinarian.
and now back to police officer lol.
i want something exciting that i won't get bored with.

my husband turns 27 in october and i turn 23 in august.
kayle is a cool name! i like the spelling, too. biggrin
we're huge on K names and we've been going through trying to figure out which ones we like best.
kale or kail was on my list, but he doesn't like it so much lol.
we ended up with noah. we're not religious or anything, but somehow we came up with noah alexander and it stuck.
though, he also really likes kane and that name just screams for someone to make fun of our kid. o.o
ivy is pretty, too. biggrin

that's awesome that you're almost done with school!
i tried to start last year, but it didn't work out.
what are you studying?

that's okay, though.. you'll be a young, cool mom. biggrin
i want kids by the time i'm 25 or at least to be pregnant by then, for sure.
my husband is 4 years older, so he doesn't want to be 30 when we start having kids lol.
do you guys have any names picked out?
if i am bugging you or asking too many questions, just tell me to go away lol. i won't be offended.

i used to want a boy, but the clothes for girls are just so much cuter. biggrin
lame reason.. but that's why i don't have any kids yet, lol.
