Cured completely, kids perhaps, marriage. Lane possibly reconnecting with her family and resolving those issues. To have her die, it will break Alex completely. He would have nothing left to live for and she's the only major tie to his humanity. If she dies, then that goes too and he may be doomed to that beastal existence forever.

It scares me and it's disheartening to see her come so far only to die at the end. It's like it was all for nothing.

I'd want to see some sort of happy ending of sorts. Some sort of closure so to speak.

Well so we're on the same page, Lane was given a miniscule amount of the injection because to do it all at once would kill her. During the course of the next few days, she'll have side effects like pain around the eyes, sore muscles, pain in the mouth where her fangs are, decreased vsion, etc. The last day her body gives out forcing the transfusion which leads to her becoming mortal.

Which we agreed on, but we did agree on a twist on the transfusion.
