I like helping/teaching people and actually prefer to play with new people to show them tricks and answer any questions with an emphasis on not making them feel that they are a burden. I've had my own bad experiences with ignorant/arrogant/offensive people and don't want others to be turned away because of a run in with someone like that. I don't like inappropriate, offensive or perverted talk in my personal life let alone online where you never know the age/race/sex/culture of who is reading the chat. I always do my best to be respectful to everyone but do not tolerate disrespect toward myself or others who may be new/just learning the game or are being put down or made fun of in a mean way for any other reason, in which case I will speak up for them. I do warn people to tone it down if they are starting to cross the line and if they go too far in spite of a warning or 2, I am not afraid to take screen shots and turn them in.
That being said, I do want to point out that I do like to joke around a lot though to keep people in good spirits. I feel a sense of humor is important. In addition I enjoy deep conversations and am very psychologically oriented and tend to bond and counsel people with emotional problems (which I myself have struggled with and learned from for years). Another thing about me is that I love being creative. Designing is something I love and making avatars is what got me hooked to this game back in 2010. I took a break, and recently came back to Gaia with this new account so I myself am still catching up on some of the new changes myself. Sometimes I miss a few days here and there because of my own medical problems and also because I take care of my terminally ill mom but most of the time I am on Gaia daily.
