"when he was born, I was told he had the meta gene. I have no idea if it will manifest into anything or not. I never thought I could have children. I was surprised to say the least when I found out this little guy was on the way."

Dinah unwraps him and hands the baby to Linda

"and you can tell who his daddy is just by looking at him, even if he does have my eyes and my natural haircolor. And please... don't lecture me about his father. I've already heard it all"

Dinah unlocks the door and lets Linda inside before stepping in and shutting the door behind them. There were several unpacked boxes in the place, but it looked generally comfortable. She snuggled the baby to her chest, helping him warm up

"sorry about the boxes. It's been a crazy few months with the baby and all.."

"shh, sweetie. We're going home now. "

she wraps the blanket more tightly around the baby

"sorry about him. He's usually a very good boy.. you'll have to meet him when we get somewhere warm"
