That saying is true, like, for example, if you win money, you still have to pay taxes. Oh well, as long as I like the job, I think that's all that matters. I've done some really stupid things at my job though. You see, I'm smart but I act stupid sometimes. I can also act like a total klutz! So I come home embarrassed; I probably made every mistake in the book. My dad says it happens though. Especially on my first day! I didn't know anything really. Like today, I was making myself useful by picking up leaves while my co-worker took some public on tour. I didn't know it was so windy because I was inside most of the time, and when I picked up the leaves, some of it was blowing in their direction. I was like, "oops, sorry!" It was just a few leaves though. Oh well, people make mistakes and I sure make a lot of them. lol

A gas station job? Cool, not somewhere I would want to work though. It's more for men.

Yep, and no problem. Thanks for being so concerned, but I'll be okay at nighttime. I think I'll be safe if I keep my car doors locked. Then again, even in the daytime, you're not 100% safe. Look at the college shootings. Jeez, the world is a crazy place, even in the day.

But yeah, it's hard to find a nice flexible job. I'm lucky I have my job. I'm a tour guide for a historical site (I don't know if I mentioned that), but it's really, really flexible. It's a part-time job. The only problem is it gets slow in the winter and summer time, but picks up during spring and fall (because of the school groups). I was barely working in the wintertime, and the pay isn't that great. But it's still a lot of fun. It has its ups and downs. My co-workers are the nicest people! Really they are. It's not a job that I'll be quitting anytime soon. It's too bad you can't find a job like that because then you'd be able to fix in two jobs and college.
