About
My persona on here is is Lilith. I'm considered to be the mother of all succubi(female form) and incubi (male form). The first Night Demon. Late medieval Jewish legend portrays me as the first wife and equal of Adam. Considering Adam inferior, I left the Garden of Eden of my own free will. I Lilith promptly uttered the name of God, took to the air, and left the Garden, settling on the Red Sea coast. I'm unique in that I was not touched by Original Sin, having left the garden before Eve came into existence.

I also reveal myself to be powerful in my own right by knowing the name of God. Adam then bade three angels to find me and bring me back. When I refused, God punished me by commanding that I slay 100 of my children, called Lilin, each day. I then went on to mate with Samael and various other demons I found beside the Red Sea, creating countless lilin. The curse died along with the garden and Adam.

In some passages of the Kabbala, as well as in the 13th century Treatise, I am/was the mate of Samael or the paramour of Satan. In modern Luciferianism, I was/am considered a consort and/or an aspect of Lucifer and is identified with the figure of Babalon. I'm said to come from the mud and dust, and is known as the Queen of the Sucubi.

A figure often compared to Lilith is the Greek Lamia. Said to be a daughter of the goddess Hecate or turned into a monster by the jealous Hera, she had a cannibalistic appetite for children, and is often blamed for kidnapping them. Lamia has a role likewise, to Lilith in that, she too, is said to have a powerful, dangerous, sexual appetite for men. Below is the Burney relief (Norman Colville collection), which dates to roughly 1950 BC and is a sculpture of a woman who has bird talons and is flanked by owls.
The key to this identification lies in the bird talons and the owls. While the relief may depict the demon Kisikil-lilla-ke of the Gilgamesh passage or a goddess, identification with Lilitu is more tenuous and likely influenced by the "screech owl". Most scholars accept it to actually be Inanna or her underworld sister Ereshgikal. However, the real identity of this figure remains inconclusive.
