DNA Fingerprinting (Profiling)

DNA is a process of identifying a genetic material found, whether or not it belongs to a living or non-living organism and who or what this genetic material belongs to, where as DNA FINGERPRINTING is the process of identifying a fingerprint found, what is found on this fingerprint, chemicals found within the fingerprint and who it belongs to. DNA shows that no two people in the world have the same fingerprint-everyone has an individual pattern.

DNA was first discovered in 1869 by a 25 year old male named Frederick Miescher, but it wasn't until 1953 that James D. Watson and Francis Crick suggested the first DNA structure.DNA was originally designed for detecting the presence of genetic diseases. Soon, people discovered the other useful things that DNA could help with and do such as identifying fingerprints, saliva, etc. DNA can be found in Fingerprints, hair, blood, saliva, urine, semen, skin cell, tissue, organ, muscles, perspiration, fingernail, teeth, and much more.

When a person or living organism dies, only leaving behind remains such as bones and clothing, DNA can be found in the teeth, because the teeth has a hard shell that can protect the DNA within it.

Good afternoon. Today my partner and I will be discussing about our interview with Mr. Nguyen.

Before I proceed, I would like to say that our presentation may slightly be different because Mr. Nguyen had spoken in Vietnamese and my parnter and I had to take turns interpretting for Mr. Nguyen. Thankyou

To begin: Mr Nguyen, my partner and I had talked about the many topics we could interview him about. After countless suggestions, we chose to interview Mr. Nguyen on the topic : being able to help out for my country.

Mr Nguyen claims that when he was at the age of 26 years, he decided to leave where he was living in Vietnam, to move over to Indonesia and join a volunteering camp to help out for his poor country. After arriving in Indonesia, he settled in a volunteering camp to free the people living in Vietnam from poorness. He setlles at the camp for about 3 months. Within these three months of working hard in trial, Mr. Nguyen conducted several interviews with lawyers and people from the United Nation from many countries. During the interview, he was asked many questions on why he had joined the volunterring camp. He was told the interviews are going to be like tests-if he gets full marks, he moves to a Australia and continues, if he doesn't pass, he will be sent back to Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen says that he was so hungry that he was unsure if he'd be well enough to conduct that interview, but because he wanted to help out for his family and country, he tried his best and finally the results had come out after four and a half weeks. He had passed the interview. Not long after, the campers who had passed were taken out from Indonesia to Australia.

Mr Nguyen says that living the life in the Volunterring camp for 3 years was difficult. All the people there had suffered from hunger, suffered from pain, coldness, sickness, thirst and many more. They had no clothes, each person might have only had one or two pairs of clothing. The camp hadn't provided any clothing and family mmbers weren't permitted to send anything to the campers.

Our interviewer says that we wants to thank the Vietnamese Communion for giving him that chance to fly out of Vietnam to go to Indonesia and help out for his family and country. He says that everysecond and every minute was worth his time and none of this will he ever regret.

This is a picture that was taken 17 years ago when Mr Nguyen was volunteering to help out his country in Indonesia.

Throughout our interview, Mr Nguyen, Ricky and myself had a numerous number of problems and interuptions during our interview due to a noisey background, translating problems and abit of recording mistakes my parnter and I had made.

What ways are in place to make sure that your resource lasts?

Metals are often extracted from the Earth by mining, resulting in ores that are relatively rich sources of the necessary elements. Ore is located by techniques, followed by the exploration and examination of deposits. Mineral sources are generally divided into surface mines, which are mined by excavation using heavy equipment, and mines. Once the ore is mined, the metals must be extracted, usually by chemical or electro reduction. Melting metallic uses high temperatures to convert ore into raw metals, while extracting metals employs chemistry for the same purpose. The methods used depend on the metal and their contaminants.

Metals are usually made from ores. The ores need to be mined and transported to smelting plant. These processes use a lot of energy. If we recycle metals we can save a lot of energy. Recycling can also reduce the need for mining and it can save landfills space. Most of the ore deposits that people mine were formed by processes that took millions of years. Those processes are still happening today. But it will take millions of years to replace the ores we have already used. Ores are renewable resources. Someday the Earths supply of ores will run out. So recycling will make our supply of metals last longer.

Hello my name is Dalena and as you see this is my partner Ricky.

Today my partner and I will be discussing about The Murder of the Handicapped. We will talk about what happened, the people who were involved in the murdering, what had happened, what had caused it, when and why, how and where it happened. If there are any questions for us, they will be answered at the end of our speech. Thankyou.

During the Holocaust, or The Murder of the Handicapped, many people including Adolf Hitler and 200 000 people were involved and killed. At this time during the many years of this party, 200 000 handicapped patients including mentally retarded, physically handicapped or mentally ill people were targeted and killed by starvation, a gas chamber or a deadly dose of drugs which what injected into the human body.

The murdering happened because the Nazis formulated policy based on their vision of the biology “pure” population, to create an “Aryan Master Race”; the law for the prevention of the pregnancy with the ~Hereditary Diseases~ was given out to the world. From then, the murdering and killing of the handicapped patients had begun.
