I wake in the morning,
get ready for school,
eat my breakfast and do some homework,
as I do I listen to the radio.
It says things like,
Death and killers
and many others bad things.
and I really don't care.
But at night when I went to church,
I was told a story that happened to someone.
That there was a Breaking and Entering
Someone with a gun....
threats, Fear, Tears, Cries....
I thought a moment...
I closed my eyes,
and a tear slowly went down my face....
What has this world become?
Will things like abuse, murders.....
Will they ever stop?
and I hope this gets to you,
because it did to me...
I want this to be a peaceful country,
Not one of hate,
Everything like this just saddens me,
to think if this increased would only make it worse....
So ignore my words if you must but
look in your heart, and try to care
