Yeah, but that would mess with me something awful, even worse than it already does. That and I'd freeze.
This one's gonna be a bit long, so for your convenience, it's in a different color. Year: 2008, Venue :Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Event: AMA Superbikes weekend. This was my first time ever really racing, and I was running a pocketbike (you know, the tiny little thing you can pick up and carry under your arm and can never look dignified on no matter how hard you try) loaned out to me by a guy who really didn't have it all together. The problem with pocketbikes is they accelerate far faster than they should, are incredibly twitchy due to their short wheelbase, and if you don't have the right footpegs they catch on the ground and lever the back wheel off of the pavement. My day of practice went okay, although I did get unceremoniously stuffed going into the first big corner once. My first race was a huge letdown because the pocketbike had developed a carburetor issue and was surging on and off the power in a useless manner. I didn't finish. My uncle got the carb apart and cleaned for the next race, so at least the bike worked. But seeing as this was my first race event, I didn't have a pre-race routine. If you don't have a pre-race routine, you forget things. And I forgot things.
Going out on the sighting lap of the second race, the bike died halfway through the track, because I'd forgotten to turn the gas valve on. So I get to the starting grid, only to suddenly remember... that I forgot to do the chinstrap on my helmet. So I had to take my gloves off, do the strap, and put the gloves back on, and by this time everyone else was off and running.So I was charging far harder than I previously had to try and catch up. I was almost to the backmarkers when I came over a slight rise. The front end of the bike got light, came down, the bike bobbled once and then I was staring at the ground and a split second later standing up again. I scuffed my helmet and leathers, put a hairline fracture in my right upper arm just above the elbow, and according to some sources cracked the piston on the pocketbike. That was my first racing crash.
I can be composed if I think about it, but I don't make small talk easily and everything I say is brief, unless I'm trying to explain a concept or ranting. Suffice it to say "a little less conversation a little more action" describes me very well.

Bloody hell, bowling? That's awesome! Like really really awesome! That you're skilled enough to play at a regional level makes me quite envious. (Then again my school's fencing team could compete at a regional level too, but that's beside the point.) I wish you the best of luck in the state competition! Make it a good experience! Have fun! Knock 'em dead!

I never said it was offensive. I just use it all the time. Because Russia is awesome.
Alaska is awesome, but it gets cold there in the winter. And it gets dark. I probably wouldn't last a winter there, despite the probable copious snowfall.
Adventurous or fragile? I got a story behind the pocketbike crash, if ya want to hear it.
I take pains to type with more sophistication than the common lout, but in terms of speech... The inverse holds true. I don't talk much unless it's something I'm passionate about. And even then it's far less eloquent than I imagine.
All legitimate concerns.

My MAN LOGIC does not understand this...
If it's explosions involving idiocy, then I'll laugh at it. NASCAR, maybe, because NASCAR is barely racing. But crashy vehicle-related explosions... Those I don't like.
Because Valve. My personal favorite, Meet the Sniper.
Just don't go to India. Their cheeseburger trees are sacred. And they do eat dogs, in weirder parts of the world.
Exit line! When I say it, you know I'm gone. At least when I don't feel like messing with people. It's "For Mother Russia!"
We get snow more than once a year, but lately it hasn't accumulated in any bulk. It disappoints me terribly...
Yeah, the first one was both wrists at the same time too. The problem was my writing hand's thumb was bound up, so no writing for me. The first time was a bicycle, that was three. The second time was a pocketbike race, that was a hairline fracture of my upper arm just below the elbow. Then I bruised my wrist while fencing, and finally the sprain while snowboarding. I need to learn to tuck and roll.
I only accidentally make grammatical errors out of ignorance or tiredness. I'm a bit of a Grammar Nazi. But if I keep mis-grammaticising words, it might become accidental.
Wow. That does sound amazing. I bet that trip was amazing.
Cucumbers = undiluted awesome. "filthy rich" I don't understand that saying. Have you ever seen a filthy rich person? They're usually very very clean.

If you aren't fine, why not just say so?
Because I've spent far too much time running safety crew. Any crash that most people call "exciting" I find incredibly worrying. Which is why I try not to watch crashes unless I know that the driver/rider ended up okay.

We don't get enough snow around here to get tired of it. Besides, snow makes drab gray winter look bright white and pretty. Plus you can do all sorts of things with it.
Hey, remember who you're talking to. The guy who's broken at least four bones, sprained, bruised and generally maligned his arms far more than he should have doing comparatively high-risk adrenaline sports. (So yes, I'm stupid if you're calling me that.)
Potatoes is just awesome. (I suddenly realize that it's slowly become habit to deliberately make grammatical errors like that. Maybe I should stop, for my safety.)
Pure water is just beautiful. It's often cold too, as most of it comes off the mountains. "wide berth" Hmmm... Nope. No comment.
