yes, i applied through FAFSA. Last year they awarded me 5k so it covered both semesters
but now I changed my information since I live with my mom so still waiting to see how much
they give me. I think my mom makes way less so i'm thinking i'll get more. The problem with the
scholarships given in my college is that if you receive financial aid, they won't award you anything.

Although I won't be using financial aid in the summer so i'll be able to apply i'm assuming.
Yeah, it is really scary. and its super sad that i have to ask my dad for money today, on Father's Day,
because the uniform company comes in tomorrow. I bought him a cake though and plan on
surprising him atleast sweatdrop not much but i don't have much money to begin with

I'm assuming they'll give me christmas break and spring ;n; but idk because hospitals
are never closed. still though, i'm sure I do get those breaks.

Uniforms are mandatory to buy at this one company. Just one of each is expensive:

lab coat w/ trim & emblem: $29
shirt w/ emblem: $19
pants: $18
name pin: $7

Just from that company alone, it's $73 IF i get one of each. i'm trying to get 2 shirts and 2 name pins, an extra $26 so that's $99.
That doesn't include the shoes because they can't be sneakers and they have to be white hospital shoes which I guess the
company doesn't sell. Then I have to get these lead markers which are what you use to "sign" the x-rays you take so that the
professor knows you did it. They're basically little squares with your initials on it. I need 4 of them so that's $20. Total so far is
let's say $120. let's assume the shoes are about $50 (i've seen them at this place specifically for hospital uniforms). Total: $170.

Then I have to get my CPR certification which is $90 as well as other vaccines and checkups from the doctor. All this has to be
completed before August or they kick me off the program and give my spot to someone else.

The uniform company is coming tomorrow so I have to go to my school and meet them (+pay) and if I don't pay in full, I have to
go to where the company is to get it which is far as heck. If i do pay in full, they'll ship it to the school which I can then go and get in a few weeks.

Other things I have to pay for:

Nation Exam: $200
State of NJ Licensure: $60
Membership: $10
American Society of Radiologic Technologists: $30
Textbooks: $600 (which i'm still waiting for financial aid)

Total expenses listed: $1,260? idk, I roughly did the math.

That's not even including tuition, school supplies, lunch, or bus/gas xnx; i'm seriously going to have a panic attack.

ohhh, yea now i remember cause you live in the same state as my bf o:
I'm starting to stress over school. I have to go straight for 22 months and
I dont have many breaks. Since my financial aid won't pay summers, I was
going to just not take classes in the summer but it's mandatory for my program...

I'm trying to find out how i'll be able to pay the uniforms atm.
They recommend I don't get a job (i've never had a job before), but I need
it in order to pay off summer and other things. Plus, most of my classes are
at hospitals so I'm going to need to borrow my brothers car. I have anxiety
driving...I know people say, "You get used to it" but I've driven for a while now
and every time, i get stomach pains from the nerves but i'm going to have to do it.
My clinical sites are in 3 different locations so I hope they're not far the ones they
assign me. They told me one of them I have to go through the highway to get to
so I hope to God that's not the one i'll get.. i'm just really stressing out..

I also have to take 5 classes per semester.. /:
