Hey, well, I have a weird size so I can't just give you money and say go because there's no way you'll find anything that fits me (I can hardly ever find things that fit me myself!). But that's awesome, do you know how long the sales are running for? If they are still there the day after your wedding, would you like to go with me?



I did get myself some stuff, mostly from Zellers. But there was only one pair of fancy black pants that fit me, so I can always use more. I got a couple shirts, too. Well, actually, one shirt and two sweaters. And then I got a shirt. OH! And with my big fat belly, I've found out that the maternity aisle has THE MOST COMFORTABLE CLOTHING EVER. It's amazing. It looks great and it doesn't put pressure on my stomach. The normal clothes in my size usually look so horrible and unflattering.

I'm actually kinda swamped this weekend and I'm working next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. When I work, I stay until I finish the project I have to get done, so I never know what time I finish. It's hard to schedule anything for after. And then on Friday, we have our office party and that's going to take up most of the day and the evening. But the following Saturday should be fine. Is that a bit late?

Did you already have the Hinduism exam? Or is that the one on Tuesday?

Well, sex sells, lol. That's a shame that they took points off for something you totally couldn't control, though. Shouldn't it be about, oh I don't know, your TALENT?

Money's always nice and so's status. But still, I do hope it was worth going if only as a little vacation.

The dream thing - I see that all the time in writing. All these kids who think that they are amazing (and sometimes they are, but most of the time they really aren't that good) and they just want to be writers. That's it. They want to go to college and take Creative Writing (if you thought English was a useless degree...) and that's what they want to do as a full-time job. It's really not a full time job, though. Almost all authors, even fairly popular published ones, have a day job and write in their free time. But yeah, it's so OMG GLAMOROUS to be a music star or a writer or a painter so they just want to do that without thinking that it's actually really difficult. It's kinda like... how little kids all want to be astronauts. The only difference is that most of them figure out fairly quickly that being an astronaut is really difficult, but the arts are always considered "easy" for some reason, or like some people are just born with talent and that's it, they never have to work or practice or anything. And then because their parents and friends always tell them they are so good, they think they have that talent. It's so sad And, of course, it also means that people who actually make it don't get the respect they deserve because their jobs aren't thought of as hard work.

Anyways, I'm really glad that you had fun. That's really all that matters

Really close? Yeah, they always say that, lol. And you know all contests judged by humans are political. You get points based no what song you picked or what you are wearing rather than actual plain talent. You should know this by now! But you know, you just keep competing and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose but you always get to go meet new people and talk to them and maybe learn things you didn't know before about music and that's what it's all really about Well... that and the money.

First day: Oh no! More clutter for your room!

The tours and such sound pretty cool. What was the lecture like? Did you get to learn anything new?

Anyways, that sounds pretty cool See? Even if you didn't win, it sounds like you got to have quite a bit of fun Did you make any new friends?
