Yeah, I knew about everything. It was just the "Knock me up" thing that I wasn't sure about. So either my teacher's a dumbass or it's just not used that much over there. Ring me up isn't used over here much, so that makes sense. I really don't know why she said it or how we even got on the subject of different terms in England, especially when we're in Spanish class. It was funny, though, because after the teacher said "knock me up" she laughed because she had no idea what she just said and then some guy was like, "If someone asked me to knock them up, I'd be doing something else." xD You just had to be there.

Hey, I was in Spanish like a week or two ago and we were talking about how in different parts of the world things are said differently. Is it true that in Great Britain, if you go to a store and you want to buy something, you ask the clerk to "Knock me up?" xD If so, do you have any idea what that means in America? We also talked about terms like (don't kill me if my spelling is way off) "the loo, bobbies, the pub, chips are french fries and crisps are chips (chips can be called crisps here, too, but french fries are always french fries, even if they aren't originated in France.)". Just wondering. Please don't go all off on me about how we say things here. I personally think some of the things said in England are the correct ways of saying words, while sometimes the words should be said how we say them. It really depends. [I'm too lazy to put all this in paragraphs, so I'll leave it as it is. ^^]
