When I first started drawing, I used copic pens of various sizes, and any kind of sketchbook I could get my hands on. As the years have gone by though, I have switched to digital medium... for inking and toning I now use Deleter Comicworks, with colored work done in Paint Tool SAI and text/effects in Photoshop CS5. And obviously, I used a Wacom tablet to do the drawing with said programs.

As for deciding when to put it up, i can't say much thought had gone into that; I wanted people to see my work and so I put it up. Though some people do wait until they are 50+ pages ahead so that they have a buffer zone for posting.

As for avoiding your stuff being stolen, there are many options. First, anything and everything posted on the internet is copyrighted as soon as it is uploaded. That means that whatever comics you upload, the art cannot be stolen. You can also write on your website "Art, characters, and story are © your name."

To further avoid theft, you can post on sites that have time stamps, such as DeviantART or Smackjeeves. And finally, if you are really paranoid, you can always watermark your pages.
