I found that out the hard way. It was pretty tricky to find the episodes online- But it was worth the search because it's right up my alley!

I Adore Slender to bits, it gives just that right atmosphere to creepy-styled avatars ^_^ And Yay!!! for using never used items! (Does that make any sense?)

Just a little *holds fingers a hair apart* I quite honestly don't care about age. It's just a number that, come to think of it, crams you in the 'age-appropriate' corner while completely ignoring that you might actually be younger or older by heart and in mind. I once chatted with someone here who was almost 30 (that'd be fossil then?) about two years ago. I think he got banned-
But yeah, most ATers are 2007 and earlier ^_^ (What's the Gaia-legal age anyway?)

I've met a few Canadians!!! But yeah, compared to Americans: they're rare! I'm from the Netherlands btw ^_^
*hums* My schedule got royally messed up thanks to a series of accidents due to the immense fog- The only direct road in and out of the region where I live is locked for traffic from both sides. Looks like I'm home bound today! Sooooo *prepares to get bored*

Don;t forget that we have far nicer items now á days compared to all those years ago ^_^ I joined in June 2007, was very little active in 2008 for reasons , came back in 2009 and found my way to the AT about 1 1/2 years ago.
I remember the day I first set foot in D*C after it was opened. I think I nearly had a heart attack when I saw those prices- I was all like: How the f* are we ever going to afford THAT?! And now those prices are laughable low...

It's the Internet after all, what harm can someone who quite possibly lives on the other side of the planet, actually do to you? Especially with concrit that makes no sense at all- They're probably just jealous because you managed to pull the avatar off while they're stuck in 2005's fashion ^_^ (At least, that's what I tell myself *g*)
It's looking very good! I'm really liking your avatar as it is now. And yeah, Asphalt Jungle does do that- Some avatars can take it, others not so much. The power in your current avatar lies in the fact that you've managed to make white look creepy- Asphalt Jungle would turn that white more grayish and would kill the effect.

Yeah well- What can one say? Life can be complete and utter b***h? It's not going to bring him back though-
I turned 22 last month ^_^ And I know a couple more of around and about our age, even one who is 25. But yeah, most are in their teens. We really need to find the Gaian's from the old-days, they're all pretty much our age.

*grins* Fact: finding a European here is rather rare- Especially from my country.
Wheeeeee! I'll log in later today, am a bit busy right now 4laugh And that's actually a relieve! Otherwise I'd have to get a new webcam and I seriously can do without that thing (certainly ain't missing my old one-)

*nods* That's what I mean! The days where sporting a Dernier* Cri item meant you where loaded-

I actually never cared for it- When I spot a concrit that makes sense and has a valuable point, I get to work with it. But when it hits no shore at all? I just as easily ignore it.
Not only for creepy backgrounds hun, trust me wink But it can be just that little bit extra oemph one needs.
And I'm loving the way your avatar is now. You could always try Asphalt Jungle (The Office) and see if it layers well. If it does: it's one hell of a shading!

But, sadly enough, when I rated this newbie a few days back, I was thinking: 'Damn, when I was barely a week here I couldn't even dream of ever getting those items-'
You and me both ^_^ If not something to learn for the current avatar, it's always concrit is always something to keep in mind when you create one.
Slender Forrest fits with sooooooo many bg's! It's one of those must-have items for setting the mood in your avatar!

*hums* I only start out like that when I've been challenged to make an avatar with a certain color-scheme, theme etc. Other than those times: I start out with an item, next the face and then the rest ^_^
Hmmmm- I might give your way a try though... Because the way I do it now is just *arg!* So if that works ^_^

3nodding I usually start out with that one item I really, really, really want to use (or am challenged to use) How do you start out with a new avatar?
LOL! I gave up on that ages ago lol Ages ago would be: the moment I started to follow the A Friend In Need thread and figured that hey, I'm not using that item for a while, why not help out a bit? And I'm glad for that to be honest. Because, with the way of sorting your inventory as it is now, dragging that one item all the way to the top of the list while having 2000+ items is boooooooriiiiiiiiiiiiing!

Wish I could do it, pull of avatars like yours in 2-4 hours... My current one almost took me 6 days, around and about 4 hours a day- But that might also have to do with the fact that my inventory is a royal mess where I can't seem to find squat lol
