I don't do the PM thing but thought I'd say something cheerful since you seem depressed. Lame to say cheer up so I'll just say life can be a b***h at times. We all just have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and keep moving on. I hope whatever is depressing you goes away and leaves you happy. smile

Update: Scratch the 15-pages thing; the thumbnails for the comic are now all done! Our artist wanted to get them out of the way because she was bored of thumbnailing xD

Heheh, yeah, I gots a boyfriend now. I met him at a group for fanfic writers, of all the nerdy places xD I'm only studying the one subject at uni, which is Chinese Studies (so you could say I'm doing all languages now xD Well, one language). I think the format in England is different to other countries, because I know that in America you study several subjects at college, too, but here you only apply to do one or two. Those subjects sound good! ^^ Are you studying to be a doctor? Or a vet (since you do all that stuff with animals)?

Haha, we can carry on the rp if you want! Thinking that, I just this second re-visited the forum (somehow I still remember the address - http://z7.invisionfree.com/The_Cyberdust_Jar/index.php). All of the threads died back in 2008, except for one which died in January 2009. xD Geez, what ancient history. Wow, that's a lot of art! Seems like you've really got fond of him as a character :3 I feel proud that my rp could contribute to that! XD How much have you spent on art in total, do you think? Did you set up a request thread or just visit shops? Man, I actually miss having a request thread; I've been thinking that for a while now. I had about three in a row a couple of years ago. One was for The Lawless City's characters, actually (mostly Sleeper and Alyssa, but I got one picture of Alyssa with her best friend Jaq. Who was named after you ;P). Then there was the art competition that sorta failed. xD Anyway, I have 1.2mil now in pure and several leftover competition prizes that I'm not doing anything with, so I can definitely afford another request.

LOL, 5+ paragraphs on one character scratching his a**... that's so true. I used to look for Adv. Lit rps because that was the only way you could guarantee decent-quality writing, since the quality of what was termed 'literate' went right down the drain, but the downsides to those rps were massively, excessively long posts and some very purple prose. I remember one rp that was only six pages in, so I decided to back-read and then try to jump in, but looong posts were looong and I became so nauseated by their content that I couldn't bring myself to continue. Hehe, of course you can see the WIPs xD It makes a change that I actually have some to show you (for most of our comics we only have bits and pieces). They're only thumbnails for the first 15 pages, but still, they've all been done over the last few days since I finished the script. So it's good going. XD Again, it's funny you should ask that (about roleplaying) because I was also recently reading back over our old one-on-one thread, just for the sake of nostalgia. Remember that band rp that got to about four posts before it died? We called the band 'Black April Rain' (so emo lol) although you wanted to call it 'Avril Lavigne Meets Can Opener' XD Hey, remember TCJ and our 'The Lawless City' rp with Ace, Kazu and In-fail-ix? XD Man, I miss roleplaying. I haven't done any in months, on Gaia or anywhere else. I remember when it was the only thing I used to do online. The last two roleplays I tried to start up on Gaia died a death - you were in one of those actually razz Remember, the enchanted forest fantasy rp? That could have been good, but it was too hard to get everyone to post consistently when they kept disappearing off the face of the 'net. I can't even think of the last time I started a rp with someone I didn't already know. I miss the days when I used to meet tons of new people through rping, but Gaia's roleplay forums aren't the same any more. Or maybe my standards have just gone up xD

Since the last time I talked to you in September, I've been and done a term at Cambridge and now I'm on holiday, but I've been given loads of homework of course rolleyes I just finished reading the first chapter of a seriously boring handout on Classical Chinese. Other than that I've been spending time with my boyfriend (I've been staying at his house this weekend and I'm currently typing this at a fighting game tournament which he was competing in), trying to pass my driving test on the second go (my hopes aren't high), working a few shifts at the corner shop and attempting to write some things. NaNoWriMo this year was a massive fail but I recently managed to finish a comic strip for my studio on Gaia. The studio is the only thing I do on here these days, but that suits me just fine. Eventually, eventually, we may actually finish an entire comic XD
