If you like parallel dimension theories, you'd love this movie ^.^
And btw I just want to say, I completely respect your views, I hope I didn't come off as defensive >.> Just feel a bit passionate about the subject, is all smile I think your stance and mine are two very important things needed when dealing with the paranormal -- you can deal with the here and now, and I can deal with the future and the behind-the-scenes ^.^ Can't have one without the other, efficiently at least wink
I personally think it's important to do research whenever we can as humans and try to explain how things work, and WHY things work.... which will allow us to move forward into the unknown. Sometimes this can hurt us, but other times it can really benefit us. I think leaving things at "let's try not to explain it or understand it" will leave things forever at the spot that we're at right now -- never knowing. If we never kept on researching theories and found sciences, we would never progress as a species. We wouldn't have passed the stones = fire stage if we didn't experiment and try. We would have never been able to travel in space and even know that there was more than just our sky above our heads if we never tried to go beyond that.
There could be a whole entire other world out there that we haven't discovered yet -- and I think it's important to try to understand as much as we can about the things that we can't explain... at the moment.
I know there's things out there that happen where you just can't explain it, and that's exactly what I want to study... the true untouched samples. smile
I'd love to find somewhere that takes the paranormal seriously and both debunks & is critical of events and stories, but is also focused on doing serious paranormal research from a scientific standpoint... It'd be nice to work with others who can look past certain fluff by debunking it, and working towards understanding the metaphysical world that can't be seen.
Like I said though, this type of person/group is very hard to find. :/ Mind if I add you as a friend? Hard to find people who are interested in the same kind of stuff wink
I do see we have a few common interests.
or at least the first 4 seconds i listened. lawl
