Some universe he's stuck in. They really didn't plan that comic very well though because I found a big hole in it XD He can't leave the universe, but he's supposed to sleep with human women to make the teleporting children. Alright fine. How does he get to the women? He has to leave it to get to the women XD BIG GAPING HOLE THEY NEVER EXPLAINED!!!

Yeah she is. They don't really mention it in the movie but I'm a total nerd and I've read many of the comics.

When he was a baby she was running from a group of angry villagers. She transformed into another villager and told them that she(Mystique) had fallen off into the nearby waterfall and then she threw Kurt down to save herself. But he didn't die and was taken by a gypsy fortune teller named Margali Szardos and lived most of his life at a circus. He was trained as a trapeze artist and when he hit puberty his teleporting powers appeared. His father is also a mutant demon guy named Azazel who is trapped in this world and can't teleport out. So he gets human women and sleeps with them to make teleporting spawns so that when he gets enough they can all use their powers and he can escape.

I liked him in it, but there were a few things I didn't like. They sort of overplayed the catholic thing. Yes, he's devout, but the scars and stuff were a tad much. I can look past the fact that they used blue skin instead of blue fur because of difficulties, but I really would have loved it if they showed his more playful swashbuckling side.
