So my mom agrees with you about Wicked, she loves the book way more, hahaha. I feel like I'm having the same arguments again ~_~. Oh well, at least she likes it and thus is almost done so I can return it to my friend. Now to force myself through A Lion Among Men, I read a bit more last night but ugh, so not getting into it at all. And just reading about Brr trying to court other cats and ogling white chest hair strips is just weird.

I didn't get a chance to explain it well enough in the status bubble...

But I was able to successfully deflate prices for over ten separate items. It's a loosing move in a sense, because of what you have to do. You have to own that item and be willing to loose it, although technically you'd be selling it.
You take an item that you want the price to go down on, and sell it for a reasonable price. It might take some work, but here's an example.
Ex: Take item selling for 50K. It's probably only worth 30K. Because of insane price, item is not selling very well. However there are many listings. You create a listing for that item, and post it as say, 48K. Other listers wanting to sell their item will lower it. (I hate those idiots that see 48K and post theirs as 47999 though. DANG that's annoying.) A lot of times the first go will not successfully lower the price to your target. (30K) So you cancel your listing and continue the process of making yours the cheapest until the price either reaches your target price (others usually follow suite), or you loose your item to someone with a quick finger on the 'buy' button. I was able to keep prices for only about three of my separate items down for more than a day, however. Prices just seem to go back up, although not always as high as they were. It's... crazy. The market is completely unstable, which I would have already known had I paid attention in Gov/Econ back in high school. xDDD
The only trouble with this is that crazy high items such as Devil's Tail (etc) will not actually fall into this pattern because of scarcity/rarity. And no one is willing (I certainly wouldn't) to put that item up and try to lower the price using theirs as bait. And of course, you have to be willing to sacrifice your items for a slightly lower amount. Eventually someone is going to get your item. In my experience anyways.
You have to depend on others actually being active listers, however, and TRYING to get theirs sold instead of being buckled down into their current prices.
I should also mention that although it was 10 items I was successfully lowered the market prices on, the actual experiment was on Eighteen items, and these items varied in worth (rarity, expense, etc). I was mostly just curious if it would work and it turned from a 'hey what if I did this' into a full blown experiment. xDDD

I've had Ceramics and that's fun too but yea I think I might take that class. Sounds like fun, time consuming but fun.

Oh wow really? When was this, how old were you? That does sound pretty terrifying, I've never known anyone to have been struck or even almost struck by lightning. I have to say, while nowhere near the level of zombies on the fear scale, lightning does make me extremely uncomfortable. I have a feeling I would not have coped well in that situation at all.
