Welcome!
My name is Kirara Shinoki Koneko. I am the daughter of the greatest god of all time, Kiro Hino Koneko. My mother was a lowely cat demon and her name was Kira Shira Koneko. Unfortunatly, my father and mother were killed by a great and powerful demon. I was only 5 years old at the time. Luckely, I was playing hide-and-seek at the time, and the meanie didn't know I existed. When I saw my parents dead, I fled from our castle and went to a nearby shack. A pretty lady in miko clothes found me there, shivering and wet from the rain. She then took me, and vowed to raise me as her own until I came of age. I snuggled in her arms and told her my name, Kirara. She told hers, Midoriko....
When I turned 10, I became Medoriko's partner and helped her along on her journeys. She became my mentor, teaching me how to control some of my inherited powers, such as my father's ability to control flames, and my mother's witch powers.
We went back to my parents castle when I turned 11 as my birthday present. I found some things glittering in my parents bedroom and carried them into the light. Medoriko looked at them and gasped. All I could see was a book with an old cover, the sides wrought with mythrill silver, and a sword that sparked and glittered under the sun's rays. Medoriko then said she would teach me to read.
After two years, when I turned 13, I began to study the book's cover. Medoriko watched me with suspision everytime I studied my parent's gifts. One night, I looked at the book too long and it was already night. The moon was out and I could still see the book's cover. Suddenly, letters appeared from the book's cover, shining clearly as if they were captured sunlight. They read,
"The book of Sun and Moon". Reading into the book, (letters were lighting)I found my family name, Koneko. At that moment, I found out my father was the sun god, and my mother was a cat demon. My mother was studying magic, and this book had all possible spells.
The next morning, I overheard Medoriko telling a fellow miko that her apprentice had THE magic book and the sword of the sun. Medoriko saw me listening and dragged me aside. She told me if I ever looked at them again, she would make me regret it.....
