Nice to hear you had a lovely time on the beach.
Those easy-going-happy-all-good-time days can be treasured smile

I am doing good, enjoying sunny days and spend time working on paintings, all going well.
(switching time between painting and online on Gaia, so the paint can dry : )
The last two weeks there have been a lot of festivals and special activities where I life. I visited a couple of art expositions as well, very interesting.
This weekend there will be another event, a large parade with sailing ships. I look forward to it, many shows and music performances to enjoy, woott ><

Hi Kins,

Hooraaaah weekend blaugh Hope you have a wonderful time at the beach cool

Today I am going to enjoy shopping and visit a little fleemarket in town, the weather is good xd
When it comes to ideas: I am a veteran when it comes to making sketches and quick notes.
I usually don't finish many ideas/projects. Often new ideas pop and catch my attention, leaving the old ones unfinished whee
They ones I do finish are well thought over. Holds on the notes that are interesting and positive, they keep me inspired.

My nephew plays an electric guitar. He doesn't read notes, he practices a lot with youtube video's.
He's in a band with friends, great fun and talented.
They have preformed at their school doing covers and now practice with writing their own songs.
Do you have friends that enjoy making music as well? Nice to share ^.^

Good to hear you enjoy your musical talents. Practicing the covers might lead to new insights and ideas, good challenges, take notes to keep up.
I am working on a painting, but not making much progress yet, too many ideas and unimportant stuff on my mind.
Best to put aside the project then and have a good to go tomorrow. So today I went to the swimming pool.

I googled my name before, not a lot of stuff can be found there. I have always been cautious to with the info I put on the internet, so will be ok.

Are you talking about this o(^.^)o hug emote? I have been using that one quite a while now, for years :b It's even in my aquarium name.
I noticed the emote 's becoming popular, no surprise though, internet being a mass communication tool.
Sure my Gaia bunny will make you happy

For now I have no intention of using FB as an advertising tool for myself.
You can deactivate the account, but when you look further it is also possible to remove it completely.
It does take a few weeks or months before everything is deleted with FB, google archives etc.

It can be challenging finding a balance between work and free time.
Working towards/ living your dreams are good drives.

Nice you find words that are inspiring ^.^
Lately I have become more at ease with words too. Not been very busy, less distractions, a calmer mind.
Good to put into words new insights that pop up biggrin

By the way, off the track here:
I closed my Facebook account. In my point of view FB has become one BIG AD(D).
FB earns it's money on the date collected from the users and friends'. They save all you type, click, like and pages you visit, to form a profile they can use/sell to advertising.
This is not news, it had annoyed me for a while though, don't like me profile commercially labeled sad
I keep my Gaia profile, so you can find me here and you have my e-mail address right?

Hi Kins,

I am not watching the games in London. I enjoy the Gaia event.
As far as I know there is always a copyright on original work, is automatic.
Still you have to protect it.
I enjoy making pretty, nice work over the sad, lonely ones.
Associating your arts/talent with only sad things can make a person loose interest in it, loose the drive to explore.
Still making the sad ones can help you to deal with the emotions.
Change your view on things in a more positive one. The sun behind the clouds thing, a little wind to make the clouds drift away and the sun becomes visible again.

You seem to have a lot of experience with it, have you entered contests in Arena's before?
I might enter the Arena again when I come up with a great avi xd
Maybe add my Halloween avi there, in Autumn.
Right now the Olympic event is keeping me busy.

I showed my arts on facebook but removed them few months ago.
This to keep safe my works. Facebook places everything on google as well.
For all to see, so I have become more careful. Facebook is loosing it's original goal to commercial pursuits.
See what happens in the future with facebook, I might put em on there again later.

How about you, still working on your music?

Thank you very much for taking your time to comment on my Arena entry. I love your honesty emotion_hug
I was working on a description still, so put a *wink* in there. When I wanted to edit it, the contest already started and I could not edit it anymore so left it to be.
Usually put thought in making an avi and items I pick, but sometimes having problems in putting those thoughts on paper, they can be complex xd
For example, I did not add a mouth and nose on the avi, to give the avi less emotions. To create more distance, which suits the cosmic theme.
What you can't see is often more exciting and gives room to explore.

About the bottoms, I suppose you are talking about the crossed legs? I use that item regular, to get rid of the 'goaty' ankles on the female avi's. It's also a great help in creating a s-curve in the total avi picture.

I enjoyed the contest and exploring the Arena's emotion_yatta
