I think I getcha though—I've heard similar complaints from other people who play games. Admittedly, I don't know a lot about Skyrim's gameplay besides a person being able to type in system commands and summon a thousand cabbages to throw off cliffs, but your description makes it sound...much more linear than I initially thought. Suppose in that sense, you like WoW too because the player actually has to work for certain gear and there are a variety of side quests?

Weird. Things kept notifying me that you were online around 11/12-something. Guess the site was just messing with me.

I watched .hack//sign when I was younger too--finished it as well. It was nice back in the time, but I re-watched it a couple weeks or months ago and...eh, maybe it's just worn off on me. Or I've seen too many animes like it by now.

Hahah, Pokémon. Awesome choice. X ) I'm not sure if I've heard of Blood+...seems interesting enough and reminds me a bit of Kuroshitsuji. Maybe I'll have a peek at that sometime. The rest seem pretty good, except for .hack//sign. Who knows--maybe you'll like it and enjoy the idea of it, but I found it moved slowly and...well...just isn't exactly the greatest series in the world.
Whatever. I'll let you at it and you can make up your own opinions about it. Tell me if you ever finish it.

I'm highly doubting I'll find any role-plays that really peak my interest at this time, but all right~.

Thing is, with semi-lit. RPs and other RPs that don't need as much quantity, is that y'then have to post way more often than the lit. and advanced lit. ones...kinda weird how in the end, quantity between 'higher' and 'lower' literate RPs may almost be the same. Text is just scattered more in a semi-literate RP as opposed to an advanced literate.
Meh, maybe you'll like longer RPs more later.

Well, if it consoles you any, I always thought my posts are cruddy and had to spend at least 30 minutes for a longer post. Sometimes over an hour...I don't know about now since it's been nearly a year since I last role-played. But if you really can't call up the motivation to consistently keep up the sort of quantity/quality that the so-called adv. lit RPs demand, then don't do it, I suppose. It eats away a lot of time, anyway. And the post length might eventually get to you, taking out the fun and making you worry more about how to extend your next post into a presentable length.

Ahh, I see then. That does seem like a nice change even though y'have to go double-time on Mondays now. I'm supposing there are still just as crazy swim sets? (5x200m fly, pyramids, etc.)

I've seen plenty of discussions about Kuroshitsuji but I haven't plucked up the urge to get myself into the fandom yet. Still have a terrible amount of other anime/manga-related stuff to go through, such as re-seeing Bleach, trying out the Sword Art Online manga, watch Magi, maybe re-watch Soul Eater and Pandora Hearts...not even going to explain the several stories that people I know online have started, or all the games that I've just been too lazy to get around to. Yargh, there's just so much other stuff that I could do (and maybe should do). o
But yeah, can't really see you getting much into yaoi RPs. <w>
Slices-of-life RPs aren't that great anyway, personally...I don't know about you or anyone else, but it seems bland to live your own life as well as another person's in a role-play. Maybe y'can have the life you always wanted, but...ehhh. Just not my taste, I suppose. Any noteworthy supernatural RPs that you've tried lately? I likely wouldn't join if there were any open spots, but I'm interested in stalking youknowing what you've been up to all this time.

Darn, I wouldn't mind seeing you around Twitter! I'm almost always on there if I'm awake and have access to the Net. Oh well--whenever you have enough reason to join, tell me. And then I'll bug you incessantly.

Hahah, no need to force out your words. I have a similar issue with length (or so I think I do?) and, if you've been watching me for the past half hour while appearing offline, I've mostly been typing this response. And then role-play-wise, I go all poetic and incoherent and start comparing kittens to the smoke of a cigarette. Fortunately, some way or another, no one has ever reprimanded me for that.
...yet.
I'm sure you could fit perfectly in one of those advanced literate RPs though. Have you ever tried making one of those monsters of a post?

Ahah, yeah...I have a nasty habit of never quite staying on top of online conversations. < >; I apologize for that.

I did hear that Neil quit from Finn. Kind of saddening, but oh well...his choice and all. Cindy oughta be up to par with his ways though. How's the scheduling any better than it was? I mean--considering back when I was still swimming, we were swimming everyday, Mondays to Fridays, with double sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Not really sure how the times can get any better while still maintaining a high workload.

Eh...so long as you two can still casually communicate to each other, I think that's pretty well off. Better than having a means of contact and never using it, anyhow. (I am totally guilty of this. *coughfacebookinparticularcough*) As for coaching, I thought she was helping out Avila(sp?)...? Then again, I haven't really talked to her that much either as of late. Will have to interrogate her later.

Sooo...does this mean you're into 1x1 yaoi RPs now? X ) Kidding o' course--don't kill me. But, fantasy RPs are definitely awesome. Still into the medieval sort, or have you been expanding your sights to also incorporate technological elements and others?

I've been fairly well, thank ye. Just the usual blend of school, volunteering/working, and internet, which takes longer than I thought it would be, so I guess I'm a bit sleep-deprived if not anything else. Har har. (I'm up at 2 AM, for crying out loud.) Aye, I've contemplated going back to some things such as swimming, but I'm almost certain it wouldn't work out so well...I'd have to become very efficient for one--which might not work since I'm a slow learner who needs time to stare dumbly at a page to understand the material taught, and I still love doodling in my spare time--and also cut down my online time considerably--which could be good for me but I'd like to keep up my online persona if I can. It's become my alternate way of relaxing when I'm not able to do something creative...come to think of it, do you have a Twitter account?

Aaannnnnddd I'll just stop here for now, since this is becoming a short story. Ahah...sorry again. These are the thoughts of a crazy senior at 2 in the morning. < >;;
