Its gross, honestly. Rachel is making it way too much into this kinda like.. "woke" tale when it could have been kept simple. Also, she initially refused to put Hephaestus into the series at all because she called him an incel-- like, what? He's not an incel. He never hated women or thought he deserved to murder them if they turned him down, but way to entirely miss the point of him as a deity. I get it; Works of entertainment are going to take creative liberty and put certain concepts in a different light, but he isn't an incel and that is such a completely stupid take. People have suspected that the chapters involving him currently are being ghostwritten by someone else (she has a team of four people after all), because the art and writing deviate from hers. 🌺

That's what I've been hoping for. I mean, I'm pagan and it gets grating to see her constantly make Perse into this uwu moe garbage thing.. not to mention, Rachel really needs to work on the outfits. This week's was a mess and looked like one of the lesser remembered early aughts Barbie lines. This is a complex deity having to do with duality and it feels as if she just picked every trope she could and went, "Okay, done."

And, yeah that was one of the reasons I left the server. Rachel herself was in there with friends as the mods and we weren't allowed to criticize Minthe ever, but it was okay to criticize anyone else. I don't understand why we can't have villains and have them just stay villains. Why do they need a redemption? This trend is so tired and a part of me blames 'Wicked', as much as I enjoyed that book series during high school.

My weekend was pretty calm other than waking up to the apartment being incredibly warm both days. The northeast is getting hit by summer early. 🌺
