Well you asked how to read treble clef so ok.

This is for violin, viola, guitar



SO you know in music, there are ledger lines, the lines and spaces notes are on. There are 5 ledger lines in clef's

at the beggining of the piece, the treble clef sign will show up indicating what clef your in obviously. Then next to the clef, the key signature. Key signature indicates which notes are flat(b), sharp(#), or natural. Next to the key signature is the time signature which tells you how to play music like 4/4 (four on top of four) tells you 4 beats per measure. Measures are identified by lines going through the ledger line from the top line to the bottom line. usually there will be numbers under the measure to indicate where you are at. there are 7 letters notes wise from A-G

notes go in the lines or spaces or over the lines or under the lines shown in the pic.

Treble is

It's mostly used for woodwinds, percussion, high brass/baritone, guitar, vilolin, viola

Bass clef is

Its for the "baritone" people who maintain the beats and are the "bass" of the band or choir.

Keeps the band together.

Instruments using bass clef: Low brass like tuba, trombone, baritone
