Cinematographer Girl

so, I was called Shadow Detective Snow. I changed it for the FINAL time ever.

sorry I haven't talked to you in a while. I got busy with school and there were video projects for my Digital Media class and studying for exams and taking exams and so much stuff and then waiting for my report card........then I was hoping that my friends from school would spend time with me, but they were busy and so I did my summer reading assignment early and stuff. I did get to go to a party for Welsh Corgis on July 14th and Corgis are cute dogs and I used to have one and the Corgi party was so fun! but mostly I've been lonely and keep borrowing books from the library and my headphones broke back in June and so I have to use my dad's computer to listen to music on until he takes me to a store where I can buy new ones (now that I have money for it) and he got a new job, actually. which is cool. my mom's friend in Japan is awesome and she has a Corgi named Konatsu and she sent me a CD I've wanted for a while. so now when my dad is at work, I occasionally get to watch J-dramas and stuff on his computer. but that's only once in a while. I did get to finally watch Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou, though. I loved it. now I need to find somewhere I can watch the movie for it on the internet. but, yes......mostly I've been hanging out with the kitties Taunwe and Geisha and reading and going to work on the weekends. and writing some original stories, too. my friends have pretty much all been busy, it seems like I'm the only one with no fun summer plans. my 17th birthday is next month, though. on August 17th......I thought maybe I'll have a birthday party for the first time in many years.

today is my mom's birthday, so my dad made a cake for her and I made a birthday card for her on Friday and gave it to her today.
we went to the Cat Sanctuary where I volunteer because we go there every Sunday. it was fun and my friend Kayla came with me because she started working there, too.
the cake my dad made uses dairy-free cake mix, so I got to try it. it's rainbow colored cake. (red (it looks pink), blue, green, yellow, a weird shade of purple, and orange.)
I get to spend the whole day with my parents and younger brother. which I can't do on a school day because there is school and lots of homework and occasionally I have a project for class.

Digital Media is going very well. I do pretty well on the tests and projects. I'm finishing my final photography project this weekend and I also have to finish my matrices project for Algebra 2.
I'm hopefully doing better in Honors World History 2. as long as I don't give up, I will pass that class with at least a C+ or a B.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday I have midterm exams. I'm not freaking out over it because I know I can pass.
last year, I wasn't doing extremely well in French class, but on both exams I got 97 out of 100 questions correct.
I'm not worried about the exams because I know the stuff, even if I can't always remember.
I'm going to finish my matrices project now.

I got my 1st progress report from school yesterday.
it told me my current grades out of 100 in my classes.

Digital Media: 100
Honors History 2: 100
English: 99
Honors Chemistry: 91
Algebra 2: 90
French 2: 88

I was amazed that I'm doing so well. tomorrow is Parent Teacher Night. my mother gets to meet my teachers. I'm coming with her this time.

when everyone else in my Digital Media class didn't even try talking to me, she did. she actually knows my friend Kayla. so she decided to become my new friend.

it's nice to be able to talk to you often, my friends who I've known for years are people I can't contact now. some have moved, some I just don't know a way to contact.
