buy some regular sunglasses. make sure that you dont get something too dark if you drive in case you need to drive at night. If you get flagged at work, visit your doctor and hav them write you a note for work that you are photophobic and that the sunglasses make it more tolerable.

i too am photophobic (sensitive to light).
My glasses are prescription and shaded polarized grey 50% and i drive at night fine with them.
I get flagged at so many jobs. and the funny part is, im so adjusted to them, i dont know what their talking about at first.
