other than that, i'm usually too busy for old connections.

I could never relive the past, even if I wanted to.
I'm constantly leaving friends and making new ones.

I'm friends w/ no one from high school.
They try and keep in touch w/ me... but I've moved on.
I'll give them advice and guidance... but I party & chill w/ an older crowd now.

I never insisted that it should last forever.
Otherwise, your standards of all that's good would probably become higher due to human tendency of never being content.
So it'd be harder to find the good.

But yeah.

You don't have to let the beautiful parts of life disintegrate quickly.
