Oh, and, right, if you've come up with any better plots please fire away! I just thought I'd write that up before I thought of anything new as well.

RE: So say their entire lives aren't mapped out by the story, but just their lives up to next year. At exactly a year from the date they find the book is where the pages are ripped out. So they're kind of interested, and wonder if anything special will happen on that day. They decide that they'll wait and see, but they don't pay much more attention to the book. Someone brings it home and puts it away in a desk or something. The important thing is they don't remember all the details about what will happen in their life according to the book. Naturally, they start to do things differently from what the book says. Maybe they just wear different clothes or suddenly get a boyfriend or something, but the words in the book start to change too. That day - "the present" - changes to match what happened in the real world, but then something in "the future" changes too so that maybe something bad happens to someone. Only the person who kept the book notices one day, but she's too confused about what's happening. Then we could even add in your second idea, if they didn't all go to the same school originally, then a fire breaks out at the other school, and now they're all attending the same school.

2009. LESSER LAKE houses a little community quite befitting of its name. Being a small town it’s hard to communicate with the outside world. The teenagers have their internet and social messaging on their smart phones – there are cellular towers nearby – but most of the adults can’t stomach having an actual computer in the house. A big generation gap between parents and children emphasizes the odd technological vacuum that exists for the most part throughout Lesser Lake.

There is only one of every kind of store in Lesser Lake. Most of these stores are family-run businesses, so kids without family connections – or kids whose families are new to the area – usually end up working at the local library. At one point, each of our main characters worked at the library. Last year on the one day that they all shared a shift working for a book sale, someone discovered a book bearing an illustration eerily similar to some of their faces. Upon opening the book they were more than surprised to see that its contents mirrored their lives too. The book was excessively descriptive but cut off one year into the future – that would be 2009. Our characters were mildly interested at this apparent coincidence, but other than the fact that one of them bought the book to take home, nothing more was done. They parted ways.

Out of necessity of living in a small town, one year later they still know of each other. A few of them continue to work at the library. Some don’t. They’ve mostly forgotten about the book until its owner rediscovers it in the room in her desk one day. Has the book’s contents faithfully narrated their lives for this past year? What might have happened if our characters chose to act out in different ways?

------------------------------

Please edit as you see fit! I think I got a bit confused and made it too wordy in places where I didn't know what I was talking about anymore.

I'm going to try and track down that thread I made last year, and both of us should see if we've come up with any better plots over the past few months. If you're out of school at the end of June (I'm guessing) we can settle on a beginning to the RP then?

I'm still online a lot too, but sometimes I forget to come on Gaia. My Facebook's been cut off, but I've been hanging out on Fanfiction a lot recently.

Hello! Are you out of school yet? I've been thinking that the reason our roleplay never got off the ground was because we were trying to get things done in October. Ugh, I hated October.

But anyways, - p h y x a t e d - has been bothering me a lot since (before she mysteriously disappeared, that is) so do you want to give things another shot?

Hey! You still there?

- p h y x a t e d - and Arria- well, actually, it's mostly just - p h y x a t e d -, but she's been bothering me about what happened to our RP. Shall we get started?

Aw, but that shows you're dedicated! I miss my robotics team; that was the only extracurricular I put my all into.

Okay, look forward to hearing from you this weekend then.

Ok. So how much of the plot do we want to already be set? I'm thinking we'll need to explain at least some of this stuff in a paragraph or something before the posts where people can start making up their own stuff.

I like the first one, if we added a little bit more to it we could turn it into a plot-driven RP.

Let's keep your original idea for starters. So say their entire lives aren't mapped out by the story, but just their lives up to next year.

I don't know, is it all too much together? I think I made it sound like a horror story now ^^"

So how's it going? If you have even a tentative idea for the story then people can start creating their characters, which is our favourite part, right? wink

PM me whenever you have the idea for the story.

I created a thread where we can do the RP here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/invitation-only-rp/title-pending-roleplaying-private/t.55104633/

If you think of any rules, etc. that you want for the thread, you can PM me too. We have to have something under all of those headings according to the rules of the subforum.

So Estelluna is also interested in RPing again, but I still haven't heard back from Arianna.
Estelluna's too busy with school to think of a new idea, and I can think of an idea if I can just get through midterms first, but did you already have some story in mind?

I agree that we should RP OC's in either this world or an original world. No existing fandoms etc.

Oh, last year of high school. I just got away from that.
Great! If you're a "yes" then I will send a message to Arianna and Estelluna too.

Hey Kanan! How are you? I think we were the same age; you're in university right now, too, right?
I was prowling around the guild today and I suddenly got nostalgic for all our RP's. Would you - and everyone else - be interested in starting up again? Except I don't RP for Twilight anymore, so we'd have to RP outside the guild, I think.

Life's not bad, I suppose. School's pretty much the same as ever, but I'm getting more lazy with the exception of studying for my provincials. I've gotta take tests for Math 12 and Socials 11 this year, and probably a final for Chemistry 11 and English 11 too.

Do you mean, what's going on in life or the RP? Did something happen?
