Our story begins in the sixth grade with the love confession of a boy named Ray to his best friend named Julie. The innocent confession is however ruined when Ray’s friend, David overhears and starts to laugh, forcing Ray to try to take back his confession in order to save his dignity. Julie, hurt and betrayed from what she thinks is a cruel joke, runs from the scene crying, vowing never speak to Ray again.

Five years later Julie wakes up in class to hear the best announcement in her life so far; she had been chosen to play Juliet in the school play, the role of her dreams. Her happy feelings are however ruined when she realizes that Ray, who she hadn’t spoken to since his “cruel joke”, had been casted in for Romeo. Out of spite and bitterness, Julie decides to go on a self-proclaimed “epic quest” to find her “true love” before she has to give up her first kiss in their upcoming rehearsals to Ray. David, overhearing her proclamation, sees it as an opportunity to take advantage of Julie, but not before the news leaks to Ray. The news forces the heartbroken boy into action as he tries to find the two before it’s too late, swearing not to let David or his own pride get in the way of his true feelings again.



Just decided to scrap the characteristics of the characters since that's more important to the script than the summary
