Hey guys, my real name is Richard Beoulve Strife, I'm not exactly a Gaian like the rest of you, I come from an ancient floating city located above the darkest and most perilous caves in Ivalice, known as the Deep Dungeon. I descended from the city because of a mysterious flaque that destroyed my hometown, many of my people were wiped out. Upon my descend to the newly reunited kingdom of Ivalice, I decided to take refuge in the abandon temple city of Nelbaska. I met a man named Beowulf who travelled with a dragon he called Reis; he said he saw virtue in me and so he trained me in the arts of the Temple Knights. As I excelled in the ancient practice of the temple knights my Time Mage skills had also doubled. When he had no more to teach me, he left me in Lesalia. From this point on I decided to hone my skills in the depths of the Deep Dungeon where I discovered a creature with a curly hair and big toes. He said he had a ring with great power, my eyes glittered (like I have on my myspace profile pic) I thought to myself finally my dream of becoming world reknown as a Knight could come true; I immediately tried to seized the ring from the creature with big toes. He said that i must not steal the ring from him because he had to destroy it in Mount Doom. Nonetheless I ignored him and casted the spell Thunder on his a**. But before i could grab the ring from him I lose the battle as a man robed in grey collapsed the bridge from where I stood.
