About
The crowd that can be expected is not your preppy, polo shirt wearing snobs. Most of them have tattoos and piercings and lean towards the rocker side of the spectrum. Don't mistake this for the Emo type either. It's mainly just a bunch of people who enjoy music and beer.
Ahh, the typical hole-in-the-wall t-shirt country... everyone should have a favorite local haunt where you can totally let loose and just be yourself, and everybody knows your name (dun-da-dun). The appearance belies the truth that the bar, which has been around in its' present ownership and form easily around ten years, is a somewhat serious performance space for local acoustic/folk/rock artists, as well as techno-music on nights when no one wants to play. The bar also has the "most reasonably priced" beer, starting at around $1 to $2 for a PBR, depending on the specials of the night. On Troy Night Out, the last Friday of every month, you're more likely to buy your share for less bucks. Stop on in, and say hello to Arnie, the owner, who makes his rounds and is quite the character.
We start off back at the ESPN Lounge where Matt Leinart is hosting an ESPN Gameday viewing party and the list is tighter than a Vanity Fair Oscar party. We manage to get in and meet up with Gold and his crew and mingle among Roger Clemens, Jamie Kennedy, Christian Slater, Dante Stallworth and Ahman Green.
The blinds had just been raised to $1,500 and with an Ace, King in my hand, I was in a good position to stay in the game. It was just another unbelievable moment in my Sundance 2007 adventures.
They don't care what you think because they are busy taking part in their own TV shows and movies. While you watch them and then go to your computer and write blogs saying "oh my god did you see what Paris did on The Simple Life tonight, she is so stupid I hate her". Then why did you watch the show?
So you know, my life is a dramatic play of roommate drama involving an out of the country landlord, his cronies, and my insane, melodramtic lead is my roommate. Not to bore a fantastic read with all the incessant details, know that I am no longer living in my house: I'm shacking up with my dear friend Jazz, so that I may be able to write once again! She is a goddess for letting me stay in her lovely home and she even gave me sheets.
Silicon Valley offers different varieties of cuisines such as Italian, French, American, Lebanese, and Indian etc. to satisfy your taste buds. If you are addicted to non-vegetarian food, then head to La Foret Restaurant and relish on sumptuously cooked lamb, beef, duck etc.
The Goose is the classic college town bar. Located on "The Hill" directly across from the campus, the Goose caters to college students and that's about it. But this can be a very good thing for those of us on a budget; The Goose offers $2 Bud/Bud light/Jim Beam all day, every day.
