Hello J,

Thank you for the closure, it is much appreciated. I had often wondered what became of you, but I am pleased to have heard of your highlights over the last years. I know my writing can be intense, so I hope that I said nothing to offend in our last exchange. I realize life is busy, and time slips by so easily. I have faith that you'll reply sooner or later, I do look forward to learning of the life changes you eluded to before.

Every Blessing,
-S

Bringing smiles is one of my favorite things.
Thank you for the blue word -- one of the many reasons I enjoy corresponding with you; I learn new vocabulary.
I may just have to add that word to my resume, or at the very least my Facebook bio, aha~
Take your time in responding, after composing I realized there were more than a fair share of text blocks. sweatdrop
Busy sums up my day as well. Sleepy, kinda feel like I was hit a truck.
How're you doing this evening?

For the record, your e-mail was so much better than you expected it be. I'm truly happy to hear of all that has transpired in your life over these last four years old sport. emotion_hug

Fun news: Received the first paycheck from my editing gig today. My advisor suggested that I photocopy, and hang it on the wall.
How was your today?

It's to be expected. Writing is an art, and as the artist we can never have that 'aha moment of awe' onlookers get from experiencing something for the first time.

Funny how the Universe connects so much. I myself only pray on rare occasions.
What inspired gratitude on your mind prior? But yes, get back to me elsewhere 3nodding

Hmm,.. the Law of Attraction has played a big role in my inspiration of gratitude -- what you put out, you get back. I've seen it work, I've felt, and am living it.
Kinda makes one believe in something more.

You'll have to regal me of the details sometime. Should you ever find yourself bored at work, at least you're not filing tax law. c;

I do hope all the songs, and blocks of text aren't too overwhelming. sweatdrop

Whew! Glad I'm not alone in that mindset. I'm learning how to be more direct in my dealings with people, so it feels like witchy when others get it.
Speaking of Thanksgiving, what are three things you're grateful for this week? I've become a big believer of gratitude.

What is this mysteriously tedious line of work you're in? It's not tax law, is it? xd

E-mail received~! I'm taking my time to pen a thoughtful reply. In the meantime, I wasn't the e-mail you were fretting about, no?
Also, this song just came on: I've been in love with it since I heard right before Thanksgiving as a matter of fact: https://youtu.be/J6gDJA3nDnY

Brisket in NYC is the epitome of a good holiday. One day I aspire to have a grand dinner in the big apple. Yes, I had the honors of cooking the holiday meal myself. (I take after my mom: the best way people can help is to stay out of the kitchen). Though one guest brought some sweet potatoes, fruit salad, and chocolate bunny which was much appreciated, and quite tasty.

I'm glad to hear you're doing well my friend. In regards to procrastinating work -- I'm of the mind that you are precisely where you need to be at this moment in time. As you'll probably recall I'm a lover of quotes, and one in particular does come to mind: "Instead of asking yourself: "Why is this happening to me?" Ask yourself: "What is this trying to tell me?" -Unknown
//I'm a walking fortune cookie

Cookies aside, I do empathize with agonizing over finding the right words for e-mails -- especially ones of the professional variety.

What's good though in the life of you?

Right now I'm waiting for paint to dry, and listening to my Youtube mix: https://youtu.be/IUK6zjtUj00
You might get a kick out of that song. wink

Heh, well that is awfully thoughtful~!

Safe travels, (I hope), and food -- go anywhere particularly excitable? Nosh on anything particularly notable? My holiday was memorable, woke up for the Sunrise Service at a certain popular ski resort off exit 23 for a free Gondola ride with Shasti, and an early morning ski from the top with my dad. Later in the day I got to host a home cooked ham dinner for five, complete with egg dying -- and in-house musicians. Having talented friends, sure makes one feel rich, (in more ways than one).

How are you this evening?

Hey Friend,

Question: Do you still have the second season of House on DVD?

Years ago we tossed witty banter back and forth,..during that session, it was revealed that was the season you owned. It's funny, because the only season I can't seem to find of DVD is two. I've got all the rest. It's funny, you know how to get in touch with me but not I with you. I'm not mad or sad about it -- it's just funny. Aha, such is life. I hope you're doing well, and that we are afforded the opportunity to catch up again soon. There is much I want to tell you.

Maybe one of these days we'll be able to discuss blue words in the vicinity of a firework show.

Every Blessing,
~Serena

Hello There,

Oh there are so many beautiful things I want to tell you about the world Juror.

My soul doesn't feel as heavy as it did. I'm learning how to drop stones not meant for me to carry: irrational guilt, waiting too long for answers, pulling each and every thought apart... I'm remembering how to just be, just do, just dance and laugh breathlessly. Over the last few weeks an upswing has been on the rise, welling up inside -- and oh it feels good, and it tastes like champagne, and happy spinning circles with arms outstretched. I feel alive, god I feel like myself -- someone I recognize, and want to drink from the stars with.

Everything isn't perfect, but I've learned how to ride out whatever life throws at me. I keep writing now, and again because I want to express my gratitude for a strangers hand reaching out in the dark.

Thank you, may life be treating you brilliantly.

Heya You,

So it's been quite awhile since I'm sent any sort of message your way. I know you never log in any more -- but part of me wonders if you ever check your profile from the anonymity of the web. I still check my friends list to see if you've logged on since my last visit -- old habits really die hard it seems. Heh,..awaiting your return is really like waiting for Godot. Mm,..It's all in reminiscent nostalgia.

At the beginning of this month I started back to college -- I have a completely fabulous schedule; am done every day at 3:20pm, and never start early than 11:00am. You'll never guess where my escapades brought me this past summer: Yellowstone National Park. If we ever cross paths I'll tell you about it sometime. wink

I can't believe it's autumn already~! The place we got definitely feels like a home now; it's hard to believe only a year ago I thought that I would never find a place that feels like home. Of course, not matter how well I do in life, I think I'll always long for lengthy conversations with someone not directly involved in my day to day life. Then again, maybe it's not fair to categorize you as such since you did make a lasting impression me.

Again, I don't know if you'll ever read this -- or anything I've written here. Though I like to think so. You're one of the few I've wrote with where I really have a voice, and where I await with great anticipation to what you'll say next. Admittedly there are few people I talk with who I really want to hear.

Hoping You Are Well,
~Serena

Heya There,

The last few days I've been wondering about you. How you are and what adventures life has taken you on, however grand or quaint they've been...I feel like my life is finally resembling something of bliss. Things are really lovely now,..so much so that sometimes I feel *gasp* bored. But you're only bored if you're boring, right? I've been finding ways to keep busy, and the last several months I finally know what it is not to have enough hours in the day.

As for me and my adventures: I got a new puppy; we named him Merlin. Also signed the year lease on our place. It's pretty darn nice for a first place -- there is even a basement and yard! Last summer I registered to vote as a Green but switched in March so I could vote in the Primaries -- silly NY and it's party lines...speaking of politics, (I know you were always interested), my dad is actually running for NYS Senate 45th District~! It'd be wild if he won, huh?

Hoping we can catch up sometime; I am craving some good 'ole conversation with you!
