jacob looked at her with a hurt and worried expression. he took her hand before she could walk away. he stood up and pulled her in close, hugging her and just holding her there. "kitten.....i........" he paused for a long moment, preparing himself to say it. "kitten i love you........." he continued just holding her. "i love you and i never want to lose you....and i don't want to push you to do something you aren't ready for.......i want you to take your time....i want you to be sure.......when you decide....that its the decision you needed to make for yourself....."

he quickly took the bottle from her. "you aren;t allowed to do things like that!" he said a bit upset she had tried it. "...that isn't what i meant....what i meant was its harder after you do things with someone you care about....after its been done already....that end.....kitten....its harder because you know that you changed them somehow by doing that.....it makes things different between you and that person forever.....you know you directly affected and changed thier life somehow......its harder after that....." he looked away, a bit relieved she hadn't heard him almost say he loved her.

"and its harder when that person leaves.....because in the end they do......they leave....if just for a while...or forever......just for the night....or the rest of their lives....its hard watching that person walk away.....

"kitten.....you know me....you know she you or her...neither of you is my first.....i've done things with people i didn't care about before.....it hurts a lot less.....in the end...." he looked away , again remembering to keep his mouth shut, and relieved addie hadn't been prompting him for more information when he let things slip tonight.

jacob wasn't hung over so the rolling had no effect on him. he sat up slowly and looked at her. "but.....if you want me....then doesn't she have every right to want me too?....its not a matter of want as much as it is a matter of...taking....isn't it?" he asked not realizing it. he was too confused to even remember what he had said
