I'm surprised the Abrahamic God puts up with his followers not knowing their own religion inside and out, or at least solidly. The history of a religion is just as important as its current state.

That's just about what it was, too! They edited the bible to make Jesus seem more divine and less human. Whoop, there goes the gospel of Judas, there goes the gospel of Mary Magdalene.... Most modern Christians have NO idea what their faith has been through. I'm fairly certain you could draw a curved line in the sand in front of them and no one would know what the hell you're doing. Which is sad, really.

It's a book that's been changed heavily over the years. Council of Nicaea being a biggy: Constantinople translated and edited the bible to fit his propaganda. Whoops.

I mean, it's a good read and all, but...that's about it for me.

Hah!! That's a great picture, though I'm sure many Christians would be horrified. Bible, on floor, puppy crap on top of it. Talk about blaspheming. To me,though, it's just a book. Same with the Satanic Bible. I have them around for reference purposes if need be. Also, these captcha phrases are getting ridiculous. The one for this post? "860,739,220 incising" verbatim.

I have, too, and it sits right next to my Satanic Bible (a thought that I find very amusing). That's just hilarious, taking an entire faith's sacred text and turning it into your own based on a cat that watches you masturbate. Incredible.

I would most definitely buy a copy, myself, just so I can flip through and laugh at it all. Though I believe they really did translate the Christian King James Bible into Lolspeak.

I read the first book and got a headache. If this is an actual religion, I will laugh uncontrollably. I forget where I heard word of it, but... oh man, the wording... haahahaha.
