My Spirit Animal:
I Am : the Spirit Armadillo
Element: The element of spirit is the soul of the lifeforce, associated with all living things, healing, birth, goodness, and new beginnings. No matter how bad things get, spirit heals, and life starts anew. Spirit is joy, brotherhood, and warmth. It is the delight one takes in all things beautiful.
Animal: Armadillos were small animals with a tough outer shell covering their bodies. When in danger, they would curl into an impenetrable ball. They were eager diggers, hunting through the earth for food. They often lived among thorny bushes, which their shell protected them from. Since its shell made them sink in water, when they needed to, they would inflate their stomach to float across rivers.
Summary: the Spirit Armadillo is a defender or hope, protecting those who are helpless. In truth, it uses hope and optimism as its own shield, protecting its mind and heart from the bleak darkness that can be found in the world. Should anyone ever manage to strip this poor creature of its spiritual armor, it would surely perish of heartbreak.
