I'm a complete nerd who likes anime and manga that no one has ever heard of, little kids cartoon shows (Teddy Ruxpin!!!), J-dorama (especially jidai-geki), comic books, SF/Fantasy, Redwall, Chrestomanci, Harry Potter, TMBG, Weird Al, video game RPGs, and I <3 Katamari. I collect too much stuff, especially animation cels, trading cards, shitajiki (pencil boards), lami cards, telephone cards, gashapon, UFO catcher dolls, laser discs, DVDs, comic books, panda bear toys, and rocks. I have five cats, Pippin, Merry, Ruxpin, Ritz, and Triscuit. I spent three years in Japan teaching English in Kochi, but now I'm back in the US doing geology. I study Japanese, and plan to hopefully pass the JLPT level 2 one of these years.
